SDIY Class #3 - The Deadbug Buffer : A Eurorack Active Multi on a Homemade panel

Описание к видео SDIY Class #3 - The Deadbug Buffer : A Eurorack Active Multi on a Homemade panel

Deadbug is a prototyping technique where you glue an IC upside down on a copper panel and make point to point connections for everything else. A Buffered Multi is a CV distributor that preserves an input voltage unaltered over three low impedance outputs. Very useful for sending critical CV to multiple destinations. Have Fun.

Special thanks to my teachers, Vinicius Brazil, and Ray Wilson (RIP)

There are many buffered multi designs around, with different advantages and problems. This one is very simple and works well in the real world. Errors and noise are negligible for the most part, but there are better designs around, albeit more complex and requiring more components. If you would like an even better buffer, investigate at EM and Muffwigglers and try out some different designs. As for this one, just beware of inputing high voltages (10v+) and shorting an output to ground, that may be more current than the opamp can handle.
