Lawson Japan revealed plans to aggressively position its brand in the Philippines in a recent press conference they held for the opening of its Lawson flagship stores in 6789 Ayala Avenue in Makati. In partnership with Puregold, they are looking at saturating the Greater Manila area with 500 Lawson stores by 2020. The partnership is a 70-30 joint venture, with Puregold as the majority owner with 70%.
