Narrative:

December 23, 1950 was a tragic day for the UN forces. General Walker, CG of the EUSAK was died by a traffic accident during his mission in the morning. His son Captain Sam Walker who was a company commander of the 24th ID was escorted to the advance HQs of the 8th US Army in Seoul by General Milburn after a brief memorial service at the 8055th MASH in Uijongbu.

Milburn was a temporary commander of the 8th Army for 3 days after the death of General Walker. When General Walker had planned the breakout from the Pusan Perimeter 4 months ago (September 11, 1950), he chose Milburn's I Corps as the command group for the forces making the main effort.

President Rhee and Mrs. Rhee (Francesca) visited General Church's 24th Division in Uijongbu on the Christmas Eve. The ROK Army generals in the video are Brigadier Generals Chang Do-Young (장도영 준장, 동두천), Lee Heung Koon (이형근 준장, 양평) and Shim On Bong (심언봉 준장, 양평)
