"Transforming Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis: From Treatment to Transplantation" by Kris Kowdley, MD

Dr. Kowdley is a globally esteemed clinician, educator, and researcher with expertise spanning various facets of hepatology. Over the course of his more than 30-year career in Seattle, he has contributed extensively to the field, boasting a portfolio of over 500 original manuscripts. His work has been featured in prestigious publications such as the Annals of Internal Medicine, American Journal of Physiology, and the New England Journal of Medicine, among others. Additionally, he serves as the Director of Liver Institute Northwest. Dr. Kowdley received his education from Columbia University and Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and completed his training at Oregon Health Science University, followed by a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Tufts. He currently holds a professorship at the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine.
