BREAKING NEWS the FHFA has rescinded the implementation of the new DTI LLPA Loan Level Price Adjustments!!!!!

The Federal Housing Finance Agency just rescinded a very controversial proposed loan-level pricing adjustment that would have had adverse impact on both consumers and lenders.

LLPA's have been the BIG topic of 2023. The DTI LLPA's (debt-to-income-based loan-level pricing adjustments) were proposed in January 2023 and were originally set to go into effect May 1st. The FHFA Director Sandra Thompson had delayed implementation until Aug. 1, 2023 and now they have been rescinded entirely.

This is EXCELLENT news for homeowners! As always though, the lower your debt to income ratios are they more likely you are to receive an Automated Underwriting Approval (AUS) which is a system that all mortgage lenders use so keep your fico score as high as you can and your DTI as low as you can.
