Cyber Grand Challenge (CGC) Program Manager Mike Walker addressed the crowd at DEF CON's closing ceremony on August 7, 2016. Walker discussed the promise of human-machine teaming to solve enormous challenges like computer security. He also ran through examples of each of the CGC winning teams' successes in identifying software bugs during the competition and officially announced Shellphish's bot, Mechanical Phish, as the Third Place winner of the Cyber Grand Challenge.
