此曲改編自ABBA合唱團於1976年發行的專輯《抵達》（Arrival）中的同名單曲。曲中以年輕女子的立場，透過簡單而輕快的旋律，表現出對金錢的渴望與富豪生活的嚮往。

1970年代全世界正活在石油危機的陰影下，各類經濟問題與社會變革不斷在大眾社會累積重重壓力。而曲中的各種元素更引起大眾共鳴，反映出人們忙碌奔波，致使精神生活疲憊，最終卻什麼也得不到的無奈，並將一切寄託於未來可能出現的轉機。

ABBA合唱團為1970年代當紅的瑞典合唱團，以平易近人且琅琅上口的詞曲、柔美的和聲，結合性感與健康的形象驚豔全球，堪稱史上最具傳奇性的合唱團體。近年來，由於眾多歌手翻唱，加上各國電影、音樂劇和電視節目的加持，ABBA合唱團的名曲仍在歌壇持續發燒，而〈錢、錢、錢〉正是其膾炙人口的歌曲之一。
