Tenet can be a difficult film to understand. But, that’s okay. Tenet is not a film that you need to overthink. Take Tenet for what it is. That is, Tenet is a fun thrilling ride which tackles the idea of free will and mind bending story telling. It’s filled with creative action, practical set pieces, and it plays with the idea of free will. If you haven’t seen Tenet yet, when you do decide to watch Tenet, follow my advice and don’t focus too much and try to conceptualize the metaphysics of the film. I’m not saying that because it’s necessary to ignore otherwise the film falls apart, I’m saying that because the point of the film isn’t to discover how the time travel in the film works.
