The Clifton 9 GTX gets a really fine Gore-Tex Invisible Fit upper that improves hold over the regular but that is only part of the story. It gets noticeably more stable with its denser foam more responsive and more cushioned while the platform also returns to a more rigid rocker ride. A really fine daily trainer.
