Outsole: surprising. Great on worst possible conditions. Good grip in mud, feeling good in asfalt and holding good even in wet flat rocks with shoes already full of mud. The mud evacuation is great too and didn’t feel any mud getting stick to them.

Rockplate: you can really feel it doing its job, isolates your feet very good from rocks taking in consideration that midsole is not very thick.

Midsole: New Cushlon 3.0. Not as bouncy as react x and firmer. Felt it firmer than react x too. But in this kind of shoe I can understand it. For short trails like the one I did (22km) is soft enough and I felt it reactive enough.

Upper: great fit, true to size shoe, loved the “plastic like” construction, very good water evacuation on rainy days and seems to be great too for hot conditions. Laces tied perfectly and the tongue was comfortable.

Overall: really surprised and happy with the shoe. Won’t be my only pair for sure. The things that I liked the most were the outsole and upper part of the shoe. I give it a 9 out of 10. I would just like to see it with a zoomx or reactx to feel the difference, but cushlon 3.0 does just fine.
