This video shows you the most common trunk water leak in the 2014 Lincoln MKZ. It is a bad design. Rain water runs down the edge of the trunk lid seal, past the tail lights and down to the bumper cover. Unfortunately. Inside the rear frame of the trunk are two fresh air vents that have rubber flaps that allow fresh air to vent through the car. Rain water runs down the outside of the vents and wicks directly through the flaps sending water into the trunk well or down the inside of the trunk into the cabin soaking the carpets.
