I recently discovered this great piece of unaccompanied repertoire by the American composer Robert Muczynski through a clarinetist friend performing his clarinet concerto. This tuba solo was listed as one of his works on his Wikipedia page... and now it will forever be in my book of great solos that aren't impractical to work up and perform. Not to say this isn't challenging, there are definitely a couple licks in movement 5 that haunt my blooper reel lol.

I'm playing on a WILLSON Eb Tuba 3400 FA-5 owned by Capital University, and this recording is in Mees Hall on January 8th, 2024.
