Brahmaputra from Dhubri to Sadiyawas declared as National Waterway no. 2 vide National Waterway (Sadiya-Dhubri stretch of the Brahmaputra river) Act 1988 ( 40 of 1988 ).From Dhubri to Sadiya, the waterway extends for a distance of 891Km. The river Brahmaputra flows downthe centre of Assam Valley.It receives a number of tributaries like Subansiri,Jia Bharali, Dihing, Burhi Dihing, Disang, Dhansiri and Kopili. The Brahmapu­tra along with its continuous water routes leading up to the ports of Calcutta and Haldia is a very important traditional IWT route. Under an agreement with the Govt. of Bangladesh, the CIWTC an other Indian vessel operators are plying their cargo vessels between Assam and Calcutta region making use of IWT transit facilities through Bangladesh.

Terminals
Construction of low level jetty of fixed terminal (capable of handling container) at Pandu was completed and inaugurated by Secretary (Shipping) on 18.4.09. CPWD completed the design and tendering process and awarded the work to construction contractor. Foundation stone of this high level jetty was . Floating terminals exist at Dhubri, Jogighopa, Pandu, Tezpur, Silghat, Jamuguri, Neamati and Dibrugarh.

Aurangabad city along with its existing airport and railways in its proximity to the industrial areas gives strong support for export-oriented businesses. AURIC is located at a distance of approximately 15 km from downtown Aurangabad and is 8 km east of the Aurangabad Airport.

AITL has a single point contact for building permission, water permission and power. AITL will also manage day to day activities of the industrial city

Navi Mumbai International Airport is an under construction greenfield international airport being built at Ulwe Kopar-Panvel in Maharashtra, India. It is being developed as the second international airport for the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. It will function alongside the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) and will make up India's first urban multi-airport system. The Rs. 16,000 crore project will be executed by Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL), which won the contract in February 2017. MIAL is a Joint Venture between the Airports Authority of India (AAI) and the GVK Industries Ltd led consortium. City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) is the nodal government agency for the project which will be built through public–private partnership (PPP) on a 'design, build, finance, operate and transfer' (DBFOT) basis.

Delhi NCR is going through rapid development lately with the announcement that Karnal and Jind districts of Haryana will be included in the National Capital Region. This region has become a nerve center of economic activity in the northern states. A total of 21 cities are a part of NCR making it one of the largest urban agglomerates in the world. This is going to be a major boost for properties in Delhi NCR.

Vizhinjam International Seaport is a port under construction by the Arabian Sea at Trivandrum in India.The total project expenditure is pegged at ? 6595 crores over three phases and is proposed to follow the landlord port model with a view to catering to passenger, container and other clean cargo.

Vizhinjam International Seaport Limited (VISL) is a special purpose government company (fully owned by Government of Kerala) that would act as an implementing agency for the development of a greenfield port - Vizhinjam International Deepwater Multi purpose Seaport- at Vizhinjam in Thiruvananthapuram, capital city of Kerala.
