G'day Mates! Number 4 on my Bee Gees songs for other artists list. Dionne Warwick, who apart from being a cousin to Whitney Houston is an absolute star in her own right. I loved her early Burt Bacharach and Hal David years; they produced phenomenal songs. Dionne was on the comeback in 1982 and due to the success of the Barbra Streisand album Guilty, she invited the Bee Gees to write some songs for her. This classic, Heartbreaker crushed it Worldwide. What's interesting is that Dionne initially was not fond of the of fond of the song but said I cried all the way to the bank & recorded it because she trusted the Bee Gees' judgment that it would be a hit.
