Sunday 11:00 AM Eucharist

We welcome you in Jesus name to celebrate with us at our 11:00 AM Sunday Eucharist as we celebrate the Seventh Sunday of Easter. Father Samuel David Zumwalt, STS preaches, “Holy Keys: A New Heart” (Ezekiel 36:22-28). We also honor and remember our mothers and give thanks for their lives this weekend.

From the console of our 47 rank Austin pipe organ with trompette-en-chamade, Bill Glisson, Director of Music, leads the singing of joyous hymns on the Seventh Sunday of Easter: “Make Songs of Joy” (Entrance); “Crown Him with Many Crowns” (Hymn of the Day); “Christ is Risen! Alleluia!” (11am Recessional). Our Sunday 11 a.m. distribution hymns are: “One Bread, One Body”; “Thine the Amen, Thine the Praise”; “Jesus Lives! The Victory’s Won!”

Special music for the Seventh Sunday of Easter: Bill Glisson’s prelude: “Crown Him with Many Crowns” (Seaton). The Adult Bell Choir plays, “A Joyful Thanksgiving” (Page) at the 11 a.m. offering. Bill’s postlude is “Trumpet Tune on ‘MORGENLIED” (Lasky).
