It’s Episode 3 already, and this week we’ve got the homies Dear Derrick and Loot Zero on the LIVE.

These are two of our favorite folks from the underground Brooklyn hip-hop scene, and we’re going to be diving deep into rap production, history, culture, and Derrick’s new project, “Superthot”. And in typical Moon fashion, some low budget games that are going to put their hip-hop knowledge to the test and other shenanigans.

Dear Derrick was born and raised in Brooklyn, where he’s known for being an artistic renaissance man, weaving between his work as an art curator, rapper, film director, actor and writer.

He’s appearing on the upcoming second season of Betty on HBO, and when he’s not too busy acting and pursuing his rap career, he finds the time to work with luxury brands such as H&M and Diesel, and art institutions, such as the Chelsea Art Museum, The Harold Hunter Foundation, The Hole, Lyons Wier Gallery, Gallery 151 and Damon Dash’s Poppington.

Loot Zero is probably the best turntablist on the planet, and he’s not only gonna chop it up with the crew but he's gonna cut it up on the decks.
