Punita Kumari का जन्म बिहार के सुपौल जिले में हुआ था. बचपन बहुत गरीबी और अभाव में बीता. पिता मजदूरी कर घर चलाते थे. Punita बचपन से ही पढ़ने में तेज थी. उनके Talent और Hardwork से Jahawar Navodaya Vidayalay में Admission मिल गया. JNV से 12th करने के बाद ही Punita की शादी करा दी गयी. बहुत ही कम उम्र में हुई इस शादी ने पुनीता ने सारे सपनों पर ब्रेक लगा दिया .

घर-परिवार की देख रेख और बच्चों की परवरिश के बीच Punita ने सपनों की लौ कम नही होने दी. इसे पूरा करते करते Punita 21 साल लग गए. साल 2018 में Punita ने BPSC की परीक्षा पास कर Bihar में Assistant Tax Comissioner बन गयी. BPSC में qualify करने से पहले Punita ने High Court में भी Para Judiciary Staff की परीक्षा पास की. Bihar के High Court में उन्होंने इस पद पर नौकरी भी की.
इन सब के बीच Punita ने दोनों बच्चों को भी पढ़ा-लिखा कर अच्छे कॉलेज में Admission कराया.

Punita जैसी महिलाएं Societal Barriers के बाद भी Dream को achieve करने की example हैं. जोश Talks Bihar पर Supaul की Punita ने अपनी Inspiring Journey share किया है.

Punita Kumari was born in the Supaul district of Bihar. Punita's childhood was spent in great poverty and deprivation. Her father used to work as a laborer. Punita was a brilliant student since childhood.

She got admission to Jahawar Navodaya Vidyalaya due to her sheer talent and hard work. Punita got married only after completing her 12th examination at JNV. This marriage, which took place at a very young age, put Punita's dream on hold. Between taking care of the family and raising children, Punita did not let the flame of her dreams go out.

In the year 2018, Punita passed the BPSC exam and became the Assistant Tax Commissioner in Bihar. It took patience and daily hard work 21 years to complete it. Before BPSC, Punita cleared Bihar High Court Examination. She was working in the post of Bihar High Court Court Para Judicial Staff.
In the midst of all this, Punita also educated both the children and got them admitted to a good college. Women like Punita are examples of achieving the dream even after social barriers. In this Josh Talks Bihar video, Punita is sharing her inspiring journey on Josh Talks Bihar.
