Potato Fry

Potatoes - 3 medium sized
Cut into small cubes with or without the skin

In a wide pan

Oil - 2 to 3 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1/ tsp
Urad dal - 2 tsp
Hing - 1/4 tsp
Curry leaves
Fry till the Urad dal turns golden
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Add the potatoes
Salt to taste

Fry the potatoes in medium heat till it turns slightly brown outside

Chili powder - 1 tsp
Sambar powder - 1 tsp

Fry them in medium heat till the potatoes turn crispy and golden
Enjoy

Tip: Try to use a non stick wide pan and a sharp edged metal spatula for frying, so that the potatoes don’t break down and easy to fry (stir) too 🤗

Best with Rasam, Curd, Sambar rice 🙌
