“Country Doctor” by W. Eugene Smith - The Birth of the Photoessay

In 1948 W. Eugene travelled to Kremmling, Colorado, to photograph country doctor, Ernest Ceriani, as he tended to his 2000 patients spread over 400 square miles. The photoessay, published in Life Magazine, would go on to make the doctor and W. Eugene Smith famous. The doctor for his tireless work and W.
