This is a great tool that helps in splitting firewood more efficiently and safely. It is a real back and time saver.

I had most of these supplies on hand. The only thing I had to purchase was the lumber. The total build cost for me was $30.

2 - 8ft 4x6's
1 - Old Tire
32 - 3" screws
6 - 1.5" pan head screws
Cordless Drill
Saw (Miter saw, circular saw, chain saw, or hand saw)
Tape Measure
Pencil
Square
