Journey of Ra through the sky and the Duat. It is the most extensive and frequently described subject in Egyptian religious texts. The ancient Egyptians believed that the only way to travel in the sky and beyond to achieve eternal life was to use a boat. Where did this belief come from? What did the sun god's journey look like, and how was this epic story changing over the centuries?
