The video focuses on the truth behind Jesus’s disciples and whether the Gospels are reliable. I argue that while the Gospels name close followers of Jesus as "disciples," Paul's letters, the earliest writings we have, refer only to "apostles." This distinction is critical: apostles received visions of Jesus, informing their beliefs, whereas disciples were supposedly those who followed him during his earthly life. Paul never describes any of the key figures, such as Peter, as disciples of Jesus, leading to serious doubts about their historical existence as followers who walked with Jesus. This discrepancy casts a shadow on the reliability of the Gospel narratives, suggesting that the portrayal of Jesus’s disciples in the Gospels may not align with historical fact.

Lastly, I scrutinize the claim that even non-believing scholars agree that Jesus performed extraordinary acts, such as healing, and argue that the Gospels are not reliable sources for this claim. I demand evidence for such assertions, as no credible non-Christian historians affirm these miracles as historical events. The argument that Jesus declared himself the Son of God and Messiah is also a theological claim rather than a historical fact, as it depends solely on Gospel accounts with no independent historical corroboration. This examination reveals that the Gospels might be wrong about crucial aspects of Jesus’s life, especially regarding the portrayal of his disciples and teachings.
