On 19th January we brought over 220 global AI Assurance and testing industry practitioners from 15 countries together for the first time in 2026. Thank you to everyone who made time to join us in Singapore! We even had members who flew in to join us for the event.

AI Verify Foundation and IMDA co-hosted "Making AI Assurance Work In The Real World" a session with a keynote, Global AI Assurance Sandbox participants sharing, and a panel session, as part of the Assurance Boot Camp.

Professor Ramayya Krishnan who kicked off the event with his keynote session on "Operationalising AI: From capabilities to deployment.”

Our Global AI Assurance Sandbox programme participants who shared their insights from conducting tests on GenAI applications across different industries like finance, real estate, HR, and general public.

Komes Chandavimol from KASIKORN Business-Technology Group [KBTG] and Sue Yen LEOW from Vulcan - Security for GenAI walked us through a very unique use case of testing across English, Thai, English & Thai and how Vulcan is tackling it heads on.

Dr. Vaisagh VT from impress.ai and Fion Lee-Madan from Asenion (formerly Fairly AI + anch.AI) took us through a use case on risks and tests conducted for a HR recruitment application.

Chris Ngo from Knovel Engineering shared how they run tests for an agentic use case from real estate, and how they evaluate AI agents.

Yiqun Hu from FairPrice Group joined once again with Sue yen from Vulcan walked us through their use case of testing conducted for a general public facing service chatbot.

Our last use case took it up another notch. Sunil Sivadas NCS Group and Dr Dr Martin Saerbeck from AIQURIS - A TUV SUD Venture shared how they went about testing and conducting independent assurance.

After these sharing covering application and assurance testing within organisations, we zoomed out for our panel, and they tackled, "Making AI Assurance Work Across Southeast Asia and Beyond.” Our panellist: Geok Leng TAN from fourtitude.asia, Komes from KBTG, Leon Francisco from PwC, and Wan Sie LEE from AI Verify Foundation joined them on stage as the moderator.
