I've been wanting to like Vlog but every experience I've had with it has caused me a lot of heartache.

Today I finally achieved the best results I've ever had.

I went out with my girlfriend to the Veterans Cemetery and did some filming with my Schneider Xenon 35mm t2.1 attached to a BMPCC Metabones Speedbooster. I recently learned that you can adjust the backfocus on the speedbooster. I'm so glad I learned about that because now I can use my cine lens as if it were a photography lens. Allowing me to pull focus much faster.

Everything shot I tried to shoot twice. One in SCENERY Profile. One in Vlog. All recorded internally on the GH4.

I exposed both shots to 2/3rds of a stop over. Shutter at 1/100th and ISO at 400 in Vlog and 200 in Scenery.

Tstop I would adjust from 2.8 to 5.6 but with speedbooster, I would say it was more like 1.8 to 3.5.

For grading I did everything in Premiere with some Luts I've created inside of Premiere.
