Bachmann 31-318A - LNER Class J11 No.5954 in Robertson in LNER black quick unboxing and overview

A nice model from Bachmann, this locomotive started life in the Great Central Railway as a class 9J. Re-classified as J11 when grouping occuper, they served until 1964.

One of the first "modern" models by Bachmann. Back when it was released, most models had very crude mechanisms. this one had tender pickups and bering on the axles. A huge improvement.

One funny thing though is that it makes a grinding noise when running. After reading online about it, it is normal for this model.
