Mike Greenough of Greenough Paving explains what he loves about the STRATOS DMT-600 Asphalt Distributor Trailer from PavementGroup. Mike was able to use the hand sprayer on the STRATOS to spray tack half a mile of a residential road in under 20 minutes total. He will be adding the spraybar to make it even quicker. Mike's emulsion sprayer has a 600 gallon capacity and he was spraying tack coat, similar to CRS-2, prior to repaving a 1/2 mile roadway in upstate NY. His unit is a base model DMT-600 which comes complete with a Honda 9 hp electric start motor, 32gpm Viking pump, flush system, 50' Parker hose on a Hannay reel with spray wand and thermostatic controls for the Becket diesel burner.
