Burleigh Drummond Drum Talk TV Interview!

Burleigh Drummond joins Dan Shinder for a Drum Talk TV interview! He has been the drummer for Ambrosia on all releases, going as far back as 1970! He and his wife Mary Harris also formed a band called Tin Drum in the 1990s, but now they have The Tin Drum Family Band, which also includes their grown children Burleigh M. The band was formed out of the family being stuck at home due to the pandemic, and the album is named after the place where Burleigh and Mary raised Micky and Sierra. Released toward the end of last year, the album also features other family members David Harris and John Wood, Keith Emerson’s guitarist Marc Bonilla, and Devon Geyer. The group is already starting a new collection of songs and is receiving offers for live performances this coming summer.

Drummond and his wife, Mary Harris, formed the band Tin Drum in the 1990s, and have released three albums. Harris and Drummond, who married in 1983, have performed together onstage with Ambrosia and Tin Drum.
Burleigh has also performed and recorded with Alan Parsons, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Frank Zappa, Michael McDonald, Mighty Mo Rodgers, Dave Mason, etc. But his favorite musical experience is the TIN DRUM FAMILY BAND!!!!!!
