This demonstrates how to unfold and fold the Carrera Intercity 20" Wheels Folding Bicycle from Halfords.

Smooth closing works if pedals are rotated to a position nearer the frame, the handlebar stem is low and hand brake levers are angled down so they don't get in the way of the latch pairing with the ball clasp that keeps the bike locked closed when folded.

After some practice it can be casually opened and closed in less than a minute.
