Equity Leaders Program Episode 27

Grace Munyiri first interacted with Equity in 2015 when she joined the #EquityLeadersProgram under the Paid Internship Program where she got an opportunity to intern at Equity Bank Fourways Branch. Her experience at the branch awakened her passion for mathematics which led her to pursue a degree in Actuarial Science and this October she will be joining Cardiff University in the UK to study Masters in Data Science under a full scholarship. Thereafter, she hopes to come back home to impact the country’s insurance sector.
Grace compares her education and career journey to the life cycle of bamboo trees. She is intrigued by how bamboo takes a long time to grow but lasts a lifetime and wants her story to inspire other young people not to give up in life.
