The Little Red Guy - Line 6 POD Express Demo

Line 6 kindly sent me out the POD Express to have a tinker with - as an established Helix and HX user, I had fairly high expectations when it came to the sounds that this could deliver, and I honestly was not disappointed. I love what the UI affords you (and what it doesn't), in terms of keeping things much more simplified than other modellers, and its portability means you can take this with you anywhere; hotel rooms, tour bus, spare bedroom, toilet... for me, I'll be keeping this handy as a do-it-all backup amp, as well as using it on my nano board for a quick fly rig.

Also, the utility doesn't stop at amp modelling - turn off the amp and cab models, and use the HX effects models in to the front end or effects loop of your real amplifier, a la HX One. Win-win!
