hey everyone, almost a year ago, I founded my nonprofit animal rescue, while beginning my career as a head start teacher in camden, nj. what started as a plea for help for a cat with a broken leg, blossomed into starting a nonprofit organization to address the massive amount of intact homeless and abandoned cats residing within camden city.

there are no shelters or vet hospitals in camden city. if you want to access either, it is nearly impossible without a car as the shelter is several towns and cities away and the nearest vet clinic is well up the highway.

i began my rescue to help residents of Camden access humane and affordable care for the community cats within the area. Within the last year, we have sterilized over one hundred cats in the Philadelphia and South Jersey regions.

in addition to our own rescues, we also help to support those in need in Camden with supplies so that can keep their fur babies. we also assist with simple medical care when necessary. All donations are tax deductible. Learn more about us at www.headstartanimalrescue.org
