YOU'RE ICING WRONG! The search for the best sole sauce Ep 6: Haelynd Sole Cleaner Vs. Salon Care 40

Welcome back to another episode of "You're Icing Wrong! The Search for the Best Sole Sauce!". In today's episode, episode 6, we'll be comparing Haelynd Sole Cleaner to Salon Care 40 Volume Creme!

Haelynd is a brand that reached out to me after seeing some of the videos that I was making and asked if I would be willing to try their product. Of course, I wanted to add another cleaner to the arsenal and after reading up a bit on their sole cleaner, it sounded like an interesting product that was worth giving a shot and I decided to buy a bottle.

Although Haelynd Sole Cleaner is not specifically a sole sauce, it claims to help lift yellowing and staining off shoes while utilizing less harsh and harmful chemicals than a traditional sole sauce. Additionally, the instructions for use are a bit different than how one would normally utilize sole sauce-- Haelynd sole Cleaner is most appropriately utilized as a pre-cleaner or pre-treatment for a deep clean or icing session... of course, I wasn't going to let this stop me from testing the cleaner in a more "traditional" icing capacity and I followed my traditional 2x 48 hour sessions that I have been utilizing in this series to see how Haelynd fared against Salon Care 40 Volume Creme in a more "traditional" icing fashion.

Of course, it wouldn't be fair to give a review of the product without utilizing it as instructed, so during this video, I will also get into a deep clean WITHOUT icing to test Haelynd Sole Cleaner for its intended usage.

Although this is a slightly different episode than normal, I think that the results achieved during this project have proved to me that there is certainly a place for Haelynd Sole Cleaner in my arsenal of restoration and cleaning tools!
