DIY Ground Pod!!!!!

Diy ground Pod.
I have been thinking about making a ground pod for a year or two. I was not sure it was anything that I would use. I was watching Jeremy Neipp channel he was talking about how he was using the Skimmer Gound Pod that cost $100.00. I could see how this would be a great tool for photographing birds on a beach, but I could not see myself spending $100.00 for it.
I went to a local Discount store and bought a $12.00 fry pan and a bolt and nuts. You will need a 3/8 bolt and I took my Gimbal head into the hardware store to make sure I got the right bolt. It needs to be 1.5 inches long. you will also need a standoff, so the head is not below the lip of the fry pan.
Next take off the handle and drill a hole in the bottom of the fry pan. Once you have that put everything together.
