The Queen's Gambit is a fictional story about an orphan chess prodigy Beth Harmon. It's about her quest to become the world's greatest chess player while struggling with emotional issues and alcohol dependency. Her story begins in the mid 1950's and proceeds into the 1960's. I watched this series and i will also recommend you to watch it because i think it's the best mini series of the year 2020. It's just mind blowing.
