The Love and Stress Compound will be performing at Portland's beautiful Alberta Rose Theater on Saturday, May 24th, at 7:30pm. (Minors are welcome with an accompanying guardian!) A $9 advance ticket gains admittance to their show in addition to seeing 4 other local acts. (The band is required to sell at least 25 tickets in advance, and this promo notifies fans how and where they can participate.)

The Love and Stress Compound is the newest project from former saxophonist/Sad Little Men frontman Dusty York.

Employing accoustic sounds of guitar, cello, mallets, tambourine, bells, glockenspiel, piano and organ, The Love and Stress Compound brings an indie pop take on chamber music to the Great Northwest. Sonorous harmonies convey a subjective lyrical imagery over the continuous motion of their segued set.
