Members of the Iowa Air National Guard recently honed their tactical skills during a two-week annual training at the Combat Readiness Training Center (CRTC). Over 72 Defenders from the 185th ARW and 132nd Wing trained in urban operations, weapons handling, and Air Base Ground Defense skills. The training included reconnaissance, combat patrols, ambushes, and close-quarters battle scenarios. It culminated in a 24-hour field exercise against simulated opposing forces.
