Wildlife Release Day on the Farm

An exciting day here ‪@TinyBarnFarm‬ as we offer a home for these wild critters on the farm. A local wildlife rescue was in search of release sights in northern Ontario for some of the animals they have rescued and cared for over the summer. Many of these critters were orphaned as little babies this past spring and are now old enough to be returned back to the wild to live their best lives.

We jumped at the opportunity to offer our 100 acre farm. The property offers a diverse ecosystem with open meadows, forests, wetlands, streams and ponds and many hiding places.

We had the pleasure of welcoming 9 teenage raccoons and 5 teenage skunks to share the land with us. In this video I share some footage of the releases at different areas of the farm and some interesting things I learned about these incredible wild animals.
