In this video, after a long day at work and impromptu as usual, I am responding to some patients who were very impressed by their LaZrPlastique® outcomes and requested me to share my thoughts before they flew back home.
LaZrPlastique®, is a procedure I have honed over 3 decades in my continued obsession to raise Laser vision surgery to an ART that is safe for patients and yet applicable over a full range of refractive errors including near sightedness, far sightedness, astigmatism, and reading glasses, while also being capable of correcting complications of other Laser vision surgeries like Lasik, PRK, PTK, Smile, Topo-guided surgeries, and can also be combined or staged with surgeries like cataract surgery, to then address not only regular corneas but also irregular and scarred corneas including radial keratotomy and keratoconus corneas.
Using the Micron-precise, Excimer laser with the longest track record in use, and with proprietary algorithms with patented surgical instruments, LaZrPlastique® can simultaneously address surface irregularity, corneal contour, corneal scars, and refractive errors, without cutting or destabilizing corneal integrity.
Since our practice does not advertise or need to lure any patient and we are blessed with our results and constant sharing of real world patients on camera to inspire eye surgeons globally, the names itself, LaZrPlastique®, LenzOplastique®, and Corneoplastique® are of Zero marketing value since they are not only difficult to pronounce by patients but also near impossible to market having no SEO value.
I pioneered these techniques and created these terminologies not for patients, but for eye surgeons as super specialty areas of laser vision surgery to encourage them to correct what they presently call “not a candidate” or “complex cases”.
No patient travels to us asking for LaZrPlastique®, LenzOplastique®, and Corneoplastique®, infact, many travel to us after falling for gimmicky, marketing-oriented, flashily named laser procedures, and come to us with complexities and complications of their surgeries which ignites my passion to custom design techniques and technologies to restore their vision to my best human capacity.
Eye surgeons who do not make the efforts to upgrade their knowledge by attending National of International eye surgical conferences where I teach are always welcome to apply for observer ship at our institute.
Having gained the coveted recognition from The US Patent & Trademark Office, and having presented this work of mine at prestigious national and international podiums, while in the pipeline of peer reviewed publications, I continue to share transparently everything from pre op, to surgery, to post op patient journeys with the continued desire to encourage our industry while inspiring eye surgeons.
