Case 1: It's September 26th 2004, 20-year-old Willie Pigram was preparing to go to college. Although he usually stayed at home, he headed out with a group friends cruising around the streets of Hawthorne. But Willie never came home. He was shot and killed. Investigators call it mistaken identity.

Case 2: On October 27th 1999, Herbert Pryor, a 83-year-old WWII veteran went out for a night walk in Hawthorne, California, where he lived. We he got back to his house, he saw at least two people breaking into his home. When he confronted them, he was beaten to death.
