Pretty close to optimized! Outside of destroying Balaba and Galga quicker and doing so when they are lower on the screen so their pods don't fall as far, there isn't much more time that can be saved with current stats.

Played on emulation using Mesen 0.9.9 with an original NES controller connected via USB adapter on my HP Laptop running Windows 10. Footage captured using OBS Studio. Frame count timing acquired by using Avidemux.
