ALTERNATIVE WORLDVIEWS: Narratives from Northeast India

Since 2018, a diverse collective has explored Northeast India's rich biodiversity through innovative methodologies of learning and unlearning.

Our deSchool programme emphasizes interactions with local communities, coexistence with nature, and ethical, compassionate practices. We aim to document and nurture the unique cultures, geographies, and ecologies of the region, creating new narratives and alternative ways of human-nature interaction.

Inspired by the Brahmaputra River, our project weaves together individual stories, decolonial processes, and local traditions into a dynamic, evolving journey.
