Lamaline is a town in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador that we lived in around the mid 70s. It is on the Burin Peninsula.
I fished Side Draggers and also had a Dory single one lunger putt putt. Man, you could not tip those great boats no matter how much fish you pulled over the side. I loved those (seldom) clear mornings out there cross handed with the cod almost jumpin' in the boat.
It was a wondrous place and time.....................................
