Why hasn't India built its own Big 4 firms yet? That is a question a lot of people have been asking and in this video, Mr. Guru Prasad Makam, founder of Guru & Jana Chartered Accountants will share why.

Mr. Makam has been taking his firm to greater heights since 2003 and has turned it into a 500-member firm.

When Guru & Jana got in touch with IIM Indore to conduct a survey, they found out that a lot of accounting firms that started in 1936 or 1940 had not scaled. The biggest shock was that their intelligence in taxation and accounting was outstanding.

However, they found out that, most firms don’t have a succession plan. Could Indian firms create multiple 1000+ member firms in 5 years?
