Greetings, this week’s bassline is not my original line but rather a line that was played by Aston “Family man” Barrett, bass player for Bob Marley and the Wailers. The bassline is from the song “Jah Live” on Bob’s Rastaman Vibration album.

Producer Dean Fraser covered the rhythm track of “Jah Live” for singer Dwayne Stevenson who wrote the song “August Town” to the track.
