The CIHR Catalyst Grant in Youth Mental Health is a pan-Canadian networking and knowledge translation grant. Through this webinar series, we hope to better understand the current and future landscape around data and measurement in youth mental health: what’s happening, where are the gaps, how innovations are filling them, and how we can move forward together. This could range from issues such as how to integrate data collection and evaluation in service settings, novel or innovative data platforms and opportunities, learning health system approaches, and more.

In this fifth webinar of our series we heard from Dr. Gina Dimitropoulos and Jason Gondziola about Measurement Based Care and Digital eMental Health

Dr. Gina Dimitropoulos is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Social Work, cross appointed with the Departments of Psychiatry and Pediatrics, at the University of Calgary. She holds a Research Excellence Chair in System Level Interventions for Equitable and Accessible Youth Mental Health Services. She leads national multi-site projects focused on integrated youth services, transitions in care and peer support related to youth mental health, chronic health and child maltreatment. She brings expertise in integrated knowledge translation, community based participatory action research and mixed method designs.

Jason Gondziola is a Senior Project Manager with Alberta Health Services and is responsible for the day-to-day oversight and direction of the e-Mental Health for Youth and Young Adults project. Jason has managed projects across a variety of sectors, including mental health, First Nations language reclamation, digital storytelling, and software development.
