Dear friends, tonight we bring you the culmination of our latest project, the video version of my recording of Bob Dylan's epic 17 minute ballad Murder Most Foul. My understanding of this song is that it convicts us and cries out against violence. It challenges us to ponder the importance of life, the necessity for peace, and the healing power of truth.

This project began many months before the current political climate, and well before today's candidates had declared their intentions. None of this was known to me at the time. So the unexpected coincidence in the timing is uncanny. Given that the subject of the song is the tragic death of a much beloved president, John F. Kennedy, the convergence of events in the world today might almost call for us to delay this release. If it were to add to the chaos and danger to anyone in the present day, I would gladly take the video down immediately. But Bob Dylan's songs were protest songs, they were antiwar songs- they were songs for peace, songs about love, songs about bravery, and about world events.

A brief backstory:
The idea to sing this song originated during shutdowns, some time around 2019, and came from one of our astute viewers. I had never heard the song before, so I looked it up and was deeply moved. Once again Bob Dylan said what most people were thinking but were never going to say out loud. One evening I performed it live on a home broadcast, and the reaction was overwhelming. Many people said they had never really heard the lyrics before. Some were speechless. Our viewers began repeatedly saying I should record a Dylan tribute. This led to my latest release, Positively 4th Street- A Tribute to Bob Dylan.
