Afro-Peruvian zapateo-Huevito and Lalo Izquierdo

The full documentary will be a little under 30 minutes long. The editing is coming along very nicely. It's really about three people: Huevito, Lalo Izquierdo, and Cotito. There's a lot of great cajón playing in it, some interviews, a cool conversation between the three of them and other stuff.

My plan is to release it before the end of the year, but if I decide to put it in festivals, the release date will depend on which festival accepts it first.

ESPAÑOL: Aquí una "competición" de zapateo afroperuano entre amigos: Lalo Izquierdo y Huevito (Freddy Huevito Lobatón). Ambos son espectacular. Voy a poner eso en mi documental "Maestros del Ritmo" que estoy trabajando actualmente. Cuando completado, va a incluir también a Cotito.

El guitarrista aquí, también un maestro, es Coco Linares. Mirar ese video siempre me da mucha alegría porque no solo es que los tres tienen tanto arte sino también porque son tan alegres. Quiero reír con ellos.
