Ensemble, a revenue cycle management company, was founded in 2014 under the leadership of Judson Ivy with a vision to redefine the possible in healthcare by empowering people to be the difference. In 2015 Ensemble signed our first full outsourcing partner and started on our way to becoming recognized as the industry leader in revenue cycle services.

In 2016, Ensemble had already expanded to over 600 associates and opened a second office to support our growing list of health systems. In 2017 we released the first iteration of Ensemble IQ, an AI-driven, end-to-end analytics and automation engine that multiplies the power of our team by combining the best strengths of human ingenuity and digital efficiency. In 2018 we passed $10 billion in revenue under management across our client base. In 2019 we signed our 40th partner, received the HFMA (say HFMA fast to make sound familiar to you) Map award for revenue cycle performance excellence, and became recognized as a Peer-reviewed solution provider. In 2020 we were distinguished as Best in Klas (“class”) for revenue cycle outsourcing. All the while we have also been acknowledged as a premier employer in both the regions that we operate from and in the industry that we operate in.

Whether it's the technologies they’ve developed, the strategies they leverage, or the diehard commitment that they bring, we credit our amazing associates across every department as the reason we have been able to create such tremendous lift for the partners that we serve.

Last year Ensemble received over 50,000 applications from which we selected just over 1000 of the most exceptional individuals to add to our growing ranks.
And over the years that we have been supporting our clients, we have delivered an average 5% ongoing lift in NPR - collectively we’ve brought over one billion dollars in lift to our partners in American healthcare.

As we pass 400 for the total number of facilities that we support we benefit from an ever-expanding knowledge base of payor behaviors, technological innovation, and RCM best practices. As the scope and complexity of revenue cycle management has grown, we continue to lead the industry in RCM performance ensuring our partners remain among the top-ranking health systems in the country.
