Debunking Puma Punku Being Built by Aliens

Описание к видео Debunking Puma Punku Being Built by Aliens

“Ancient Aliens,” a pseudo-scientific based television series running on the History channel, aims to claim that several prehistoric archaeological sites were either created by aliens themselves or that alien technology aided in the creation process. One of these sites is Puma Punku, a prehistoric site south of Lake Titicaca and relatively near where La Paz, Bolivia is located. This site features very sophisticated stone work and stone compositions, and is most well known for its large “H-shaped” stones around the site. Because of this, the creators of the television series do not think that prehistoric people could have built this site with the technology they had access to at the time, and that they were instead assisted by the usage of extraterrestrial technology, provided to them by aliens. This pseudo-scientific claim, however, has no actual proof. Through this research, it will be proved that aliens did not create or aid in the creation of Puma Punku, but rather that the prehistoric people at Tiwanaku did. Tiwanaku was a pre-Inca empire that was centered in the Lake Titicaca region of what is presently southern Peru and western Bolivia. The physical composition of the rocks at the Puma Punku site will be examined, which were determined to be a form of geopolymer concrete. Possible methods that were taken to create those compositions and transport them to the site are also looked into, specifically via water. This research will also analyze the importance of Puma Punku to the religious and ceremonial aspects of society and life in the Tiwanaku empire, and how the architecture of the site displays its importance. It will be proved that this archaeological site was created entirely by human labor and technology, and not with any extraterrestrial influence.
