When Leafpool has her kits, Squirrelflight agrees to claim and raise them as her own, both cats agreeing to take the secret to their graves. Unfortunately, Ashfur obsesses over Squirrelflight, and starts a fire in the camp to threaten her kits and convince her to leave Bramblestar for him. Not only does Squirrelflight refuse, but she defends her kits with her claws, still refusing to spill her and her sister's secret.

In the battle, Ashfur is crushed by a tree, made unstable by the raging flames. He pleads out to Squirrelflight for her help, only for her to turn away from him, leaving him to perish in the flames as she takes the kits to safety.

It is only when the kits are grown that Ashfur reveals Squirrelflight's actions that day, speaking to Jayfeather in a dream. Jayfeather is appalled that his mother would leave a clanmate to die, and reveals this fact to not only his siblings, but the clan as a whole.

Bramblestar, stressed from leader duties already, faints, which gives Ashfur the opening he needs to possess Bramblestar's body. Once in his body, Ashfur takes revenge on Squirrelflight, using Bramblestar's strength to throw her off of the highrock, killing her on impact. Ashfur then leaves the scene, not knowing he was being followed by a very angry and vengeful Hollyleaf, who wants to avenge her mother.

I don't think I have the words to explain how proud I am of this map and everyone who participated,,,, I never imagined that my silly Ghost-themed warrior cat map would garner such a positive response, so thank you all, from the bottom of my heart ❤❤❤

Also yes, the story is going to be continued!! I need to take a small break as I am quite burnt out, but I would love to make a sequel map to tie up some of the things teased about in the credits!
